It is remote and full of life. I laid in the hammock all afternoon and watched the fish and birds all around me. Linda who helps Aron run the place always has a smile and cooks great food. The bathrooms are what you would expect around here, dip Mandi and dip toilet. Not my favorite, but normal for the area. The bungalows are well built, but I run hot and I did find that I wish I had a battery operated fan. Aron took me on a snorkel tour to Arborek island. I saw so many fish! He is a great guide, we had a lot of fun.

This is a homestay, basic room but extremely clean, Husna is an absolutely amazing person! Safe area, she gave us foot directions to a great dinner place. Husna has a wonderful place and is a great host. Great breakfast, refreshments throughout the day, a wealth of information about the area, flora and customs 😊.

Day trips for snorkeling, especially encounters with mantas, were a highlight. These excursions allowed for a closer exploration of Raja Ampat's marine ecosystem. Overall, Beser Bay provides a serene atmosphere, exceptional marine biodiversity, and friendly hospitality, making it a highly recommended destination for those seeking a peaceful retreat in Raja Ampat. I have been to over 100 countries sleeping in a tent and in the Ritz Carlton, these were the most pleasant 4 days of my traveling

It was the cutest place to stay at Kri! The homestay is very simple, don't expect luxuries like hot shower or AC in your hut - read the Raja Ampat page as there are people coming expecting a 5* resort... If you are looking for a unique and authentic experience, you should stay here. Great value for money, good location for snorkeling, close to dive sites, and the bungalows are over-water which adds to the experience. The food was very tasty and the manager Wahid did his best to make me feel welcome 💛

The location is absolutely perfect right on a beautiful white Sandy beach with a gorgeous house reef and spectacular views on your doorstep. Each bungalow has a hammock as well as a private seating area over the sea and you can watch baby sharks and marine life right underneath you. I even saw an endemic epaulette shark. And there's often turtles swimming by and feeding. This was the best homestay for food, both in choice and quantity. There's always snacks, fresh fruit and tea and coffee always ready when you need. The staff are always willing and happy to help. Can't wait to get back. Thank you so very much 🙏
